Apple Is Now The World’s Most Expensive Brand

A report by global brand consultant Interbrand has exposed that Apple has overtaken Coca Cola to be the world most valuable brand. The yearly “Best Global Brands” details lists an exhaustive methodology in determining its valuation, as well as financial analysis, brand loyalty including brand pressure. Apple rise follow that of former technology companies in this year’s rankings. 


Google jump two spots to rank 2nd this year from 4th in 2012, Microsoft retained its 5th placing while Samsung continued its impressive run to place 8th this year after jumping eight spots last year to place 9th. Of course, for every increase in rank, there are others companies slipping down in the list. Intel and IBM both dropped one spot from last year rankings, as Nokia ranked 19th last year, drop out of top 50 into 57th, and Black Berry placed 93rd last year drop out of  top 100 entirely.
